Goals in Ruling
He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” Jer. 17:8
I often pick one spiritual thing – only 1, and practice governing in that one area for a few days at a time. This helps to establish that particular thing to a place of governing/ ruling in the inner man. This is a great practice with the fruit of the Spirit. Setting a goal alongside of this practice of focusing on one area for a few days opens revelation and removes the ashes of yesterday.
Focus + Goal
To be like a tree, planted, always producing fruit, and governed by the Prince of Peace
Knowledge empowers. Meditation brings nourishment, food that fills and satisfies. Life to the bones and yet sparks hunger, thirst and desire for more. Taste and see that the Lord is good.
Knowledge and Scriptures for Meditation to apply Focus and achieve Goal for governing
God’s Peace is not merely the absence of chaos or stress or even strife.
Below is one word for Peace according to Strong’s lite
Strong’s Definition: Probably from a primary verb εἴρω eirō (to join); peace (literally or figuratively); by implication prosperity: – one, peace, quietness, rest, + set at one again.
Peace is a Prince
“For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us;
And the government will rest on His shoulders;
And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Eternal Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6)
Peace is also Person , the very essence of the Prince. His name is Prince of Peace.
But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. Is. 53:5
Jesus was chastised for our peace; therefore I often remind myself that it come at a great cost. I should protect the peace Jesus has given me. Staying vigilant to guard His Peace as a treasure.
According to dictionary.com “chastised” means to discipline, especially by corporal punishment.
A great cost the Lord paid for me to have Peace. The enemy wants to steal our peace, it’s not normally material things he is after of the spiritual things, the real things that matter. He could care less about your washer breaking down or your finances being short in your monthly budget; he wants to try to cause you to waver. To be tossed with doubt, to be shaken, moved and questioning if God really said.
Whether it be sickness, lack, testing, or trials whatever form they may come in. All of these can either be used for our growth and advancement or to our withering and detriment.
When we learn to live with eternity in mind rather than the here and now of the seen realm, the treasures look different. Enter into Rest, recieve His Peace that surpasses human understanding and set your mind…”I will not be moved.”
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. John 14:27 #Jesussaid
