3 Biblical Keys
The Lord gave me 3 key words, leaning, learning and laboring in relation to destiny dreams. Statistics show that only 3 out of every 100 people actually write down any goals for their life. With no vision or goals we are apt perish.
It is important that we make plans, write down goals and strategize to reach those goals in our life if we want to move toward our purpose and destiny as individuals or teams. There is both a spiritual and natural aspect involved in doing this. The Lord gave me a word today and it’s called Leaning, Learning, and Laboring.
And the LORD answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.
You may not be a naturally goal oriented person but you know that God has a calling on your life. Possibly you have a dream for your life and you don’t know where to really get started, here are 3 key points for prayer, journaling and meditation. Adding journaling with these scriptures can help to open up conversation with the Lord.
In Leviticus 26:9-11 we see the Lord promising “I will lean towards you and multiply you and confirm my covenant with you” it’s a promise we can grab ahold of and it shows us that not only do we need to lean on God but God wants to lean on us as well.
“For I will be leaning toward you with favor and regard for you, rendering you fruitful, multiplying you, and establishing and ratifying My covenant with you.
And you shall eat the [abundant] old store of produce long kept, and clear out the old [to make room] for the new.
I will set My dwelling in and among you, and My soul shall not despise or reject or separate itself from you. (AMPC)
Psalm 84:12 it talks about Leaning and Believing in God. I highly recommend writing this down and just meditating on it, this can help to water those seeds of dream, desire, and destiny.
O Lord of hosts, blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts in You [leaning and believing on You, committing all and confidently looking to You, and that without fear or misgiving]!”

Psalm 32:8 talks about being instructed and counseled by God and being taught in the way we should go. A promise that while we are learning, God will help us along our way if we cooperate and obey Him.
Philippians 4:9, the Lord talks about anything you’ve heard or learned from Him and His written word, we are to put into practice and the God of Peace will be with you.
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. ( Ps. 32:8)
Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me–put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. ( Phil. 4:9)
Finally we’ll touch on Laboring, starting in Colossians 3:23-24; Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
This passage speaks about the importance of whatever we do, we are to do it with all our heart as we’re doing it for the Lord and not unto a human master. As we do all unto he Lord, leaning on Him we must remain teachable and willing to labor in love. This is part of our reasonable service and lifestyle of worship.
Let’s not forget the principle truth found in Psalm 127 as we are leaning, learning, and laboring to do all we were destined to do!
Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
