Feast of the Lord

I have taught on the feast days more times than I can count over the last 12 years. And I want to do a brief overview of some things.

First of all they are NOT “jewish feast”. They are feast of the LORD. The jewish people celebrated them but they are holy convocations, moedim or appointed times set by Yahweh, not rabbi so and so.

Now there have been traditions added by the jewish people over time but they were originally instituted by God.

The first three happen in the springtime.
Passover, Unleavened bread, First fruits.

All these had a literal fulfillment and went along with the harvest cycle, but they ALL have a prophetic fulfillment. They are a foreshadow of something to come.

Read about how to pray about harvest cycles and crops here:

Harvest and Crops

Passover I talked about in the video I did on Ruth. ( if you have not seen that please go watch it as it speaks to the time we are in right now. It will give you prophetic insight into the time)
When Israel was in Egypt and the last plague, the death of the firstborn, was about to happen but when the death angel saw the blood on the door post he would pass over that house.

Prophetic fulfillment- Jesus was the Lamb of God that came to take away the sins of the world. He was crucified on passover at the time they were slaying the passover lambs in Israel.

Unleavened bread. When the Israelites had to leave Egypt in haste they had no time to bake their bread and was told not to put leaven in it.

Prophetic fulfillment- Jesus who was without sin (leaven) was laid in a grave.
*There is a lot more detail to this I cant get into right now.*

Firstfruits- God said when they came into the land He promised them to bring the first of the harvest to the priest as an offering.

Prophetic fulfillment- Jesus was raised on the third day and was the first fruits of those who are raised from the dead.

Then 50 days later we have Pentecost or Shavout. Pentecost literally means 50. Count 7 7s and then the next day was a harvest cycle.

Also Moses received the law on this day. And the golden calf sin was on this day.

Prophetic fulfillment- The birthing of the church when Holy Spirit came as a rushing mighty wind baptizing 120 believers in fire and 3,000 people get saved.

*Now all these have been fulfilled on the exact day God set in motion 1,000’s of years ago.

But what about the fall feast?

Trumpets (Yom Teruah), Atonement (Yom Kippur), Tabernacles (Sukkot)

Trumpets- a feast of blowing of trumpets, a 2 day feast. No one knew the day or the hour in which this feast would begin as 2 people were sent to watch for the first sliver of the new moon to appear. Once both of them came to the high priest as witnessing this the blowing of the shofar would begin.

Atonement- the only day the high priest could enter the most Holy Place to make atonement for him and the congregation. The high priest was closer to God on this day then any day of the year. This was the holiest day of the year. This was when the hebrew people found out if God accepted their sacrifices or would punish them for their disobedience.

Tabernacles- marked when the children of Israel came out of Egypt and stayed in booths, temporary shelters.

There is so much more and I may do a video on these as I do not want to type anymore.

We are now between trumpets and Yom Kippur. This is a very sensitive time in the spirit realm.

Since Yeshua fulfilled all the other feast to the letter wouldnt you think He will fulfill the last three the same way🤔
