We have been speaking about the time of harvest in many facets. A harvest of souls which many are longing to see come into God’s Kingdom as well as personal harvests coming into the lives of God’s people. Have you ever stopped to consider that seed time and harvest is a spiritual law that manifests in all peoples lives not just believers?
What are you growing?
Cutting off, uprooting, and Burning the negative crops that are choking out your harvest is done through cries of mercy, repentance, and decrees. We want the God harvest, we get excited about harvest time but at times we are dealing with harvest of weeds some even old seeds that are still producing, some word seed carried by the wind.
We reap what we sow, seed time and harvest will always remain but there are times when a Divine intervention is needed and available for the Redeemed! There are times we all miss it, seasons even when we have struggled or went through trials that could yield a crop we do not want. For example financial hardships expressed over a three month cycle of words filled with fear and worry. What kind of harvest could words like that produce during harvest time? Times of lack can be trying but even more importantly the words and deeds during such times can create a harvest cycle unwanted if not repented and removed.
Repentance and evaluation
What kind of harvest are you expecting?
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Gal.6:7-9
We must understand that there are two kingdoms clashing, our words are to line up with our King for surely He is not a man that He should lie. He is a God of mercy and the Blood of Jesus does blot out sin, transgression and cleanse us of it’s pollutants.
The Adversary counterfeits everything, even the wind and whirlwind
For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk; the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up. Hos. 8:7
Ever heard the phrase of someone blowing hot air? Sounds like sowing the wind. We are told to be quick to listen, slow to speak. Speaking fewer words full of life that lines up with the same words our King speaks helps to aid us in our own planting for harvest. When we work diligently to do this, our fields will give an abundant harvest of the goodness of God. Every good and perfect gift comes down from the Father of lights, of whom there is no shadow or variance.
Famous Parables overlooked
And he said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables? The sower sows the word. And these are the ones along the path, where the word is sown: when they hear, Satan immediately comes and takes away the word that is sown in them. Mark 4:13-15
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
And he said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground.
He sleeps and rises night and day, and the seed sprouts and grows; he knows not how.
The earth produces by itself, first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.
But when the grain is ripe, at once he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.” Mark 4:26-29
Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
and those who love it will eat its fruits. Prov. 18:21
