As I was praying, the Lord was showing me different postures we take as we walk in obedience to Him.
The posture of prayer, the posture of bowing, the posture of surrender, the posture of praise, the posture of warfare and there are many more.
The posture of STRETCHING is what He was elaborating on in my prayer time today.
In the Christian walk the Lord has us in various seasons. Each of the seasons have a certain position and we must be willing to let the Father literally mold us in these positions as clay.
There is a sense of being flexible and MALLEABLE. To get a better understanding of this spiritual picture, the Holy Spirit led me to the definition of MALLEABLE.
According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, meaning 1. Capable of being extended or shaped by beating with a hammer or by the pressure of rollers. 2. Capable of being altered or controlled by outside forces or influences, having a capacity of adaptive change.
Isaiah 64:8 (NLT) And yet, O LORD, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand.
The Father spoke to me in prayer and said BREATH IN THE STRETCH. The season of stretching is upon many of us. You may be called to do things you have never done before or speak to people you may have never dreamed you would be speaking to.
These actions will take great courage and wisdom. The season of the STRETCH is upon you.
There is a spiritual as well as a physical stretch. He showed me physically a picture of a man stretching upward, reaching his hands as far up to the sky as he could.
This position is uncomfortable, painful at times, and VULNERABLE.
The uncomfortable and painful I expected to see but the Lord was revealing the VULNERABILITY of this position. When your hands are raised high you are leaving your ribs, chest, and heart open to possible attack.
When your hands are raised high and you and you are on your tip toes reaching for that promise with all that is in you, you are barely able to BREATHE.
I do feel the Lord gave me this vision to remind us that in this STRETCHING season the number one thing to remember is to ARMOR UP. To be aware of the warfare that comes along with the STRETCHING and to simply BREATHE.
I have found that at certain places in my life, I need breakthrough in areas of prosperity in order to advance! As we have had many levels of increase, a pattern has emerged that when we want the next level of growth, we have to have the next level of spiritual breakthrough.
Poverty must be DEFEATED as we move into new levels of growth! Promotion comes with an increase. An impoverished life is not easily prospered. It is not the heart of God for any of His sons and daughters to remain in lack.
Resources, provisions, and room for increase are critical as one advances in their life.
There are many kingdom principals found in the Bible.
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9
Poverty is a spirit which produces mindsets as a lifestlye is forced upon people. This spirit is from darkness, producing despair and lack. It can effect a person, a family, a bloodline, or a region.
Jesus spoke about being fruitful!
Promise to Stand on and Confess! When we believe and STAND UPON promises in the Word of God, we will eventually ” obtain” that promise.
Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. –John 15:4-5
This word contains a promise, ” Those who remain in Me, will produce much fruit.”
Producing fruit is the opposite of poverty! Poverty is lack, barreness, dry seasons and places. Prosperity however causes us to produce fruit. The types of fruit Jesus spoke of was the Fruit of the Spirit found in Galatians 5.
Fruitfulness as a lifestyle pertains to many areas of life. 3John 2 speaks of prosperity being connected to our soul health. Health and wholeness is the will of God the Father for all who believe. Jesus said, I come to give life, and life ABUNDANTLY.
Abundance is how much fruit is in your life. Life being; health, vitality, energy. Also pertains to resources, relationships, character.
Prosperity starts with changing our thinking, our heart and our words are all connected. Here are some great principals and words to come into agreement with.
The Soul of a man
Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor. Prov. 22:9
A bountiful eye! The eye is the lamp to the soul! How we see depends largely on the condition of our soul, our inner man.
Many want to walk in all that God has for them; yet do not understand the key to prosperity is the soul.
The soul is made up of mind, will, emotions. As these areas “prosper” come up higher in perspective, thinking, believing other areas of life follow.
•How can one prosper thinking? By knowledge
•How can one prosper emotions? By healing and maturing
•How can one prosper their will? By true revelation of biblical submission
Our perception of who we are, and who God is are critical when desiring to prosper. I am not just speaking of financial prosperity, rather also relationships, health, establishment, intelligence.
Fear hinders and blocks Prosperity
Fear causes lack to be attached to a person’s life. The opposite of faith, and the contaminated of faith. Fear is cast out as we mature in God’s love; as we mature in receiving His love.
Surrender to the Spirit
Isaiah 11:2 speaks of the Seven Spirits of God- the fullness of the Holy Spirit
“And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord”
All of these areas are prospered by the 7 Spirits of God filling the life of the believer. Progressive filling and working of the biblical principals, the Holy Spirit will add in prosperity- building the believer to prosper.
Get wisdom it is the principal thing, and in all your getting, get understanding.
God is the giver of time, the birther of seasons. Who is man that he can reckon such things, for God is Sovereign. What man can create places and uphold the sun, the moon, causing snow to fall in one land and sun to shine in another.
Man knows not the things of God, for man is God’s creation. Man reckons to know such perplexities as how the sea stops at the shoreline or how the current rises, yet man knows not these things of God.
And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, Genesis 1:14 esv
Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you. 1 Thesssalonians 5:1 esv
Even the stork in the heavens knows her times, and the turtledove, swallow, and crane keep the time of their coming, but my people know not the rules of the Lord. Jeremiah 8:7esv
Watch and Pray
Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour. Matthew 25:13esv
What knowledge of good and evil does man obtain, except that which Yahweh allows. What breath can man take, except that which His Spirit creates. How can one reckon the things of God.
The beasts do well to live, breathe, dwell and then they are no more, yet this creature man thinks himself to be a holder of time. What can man see, but that which God has commanded the light upon. What man can hear except God open the ear. Time and Life are with Him.
But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 2 Peter 3:8esv
But I trust in you, O Lord; I say, “You are my God.” My times are in your hand; rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from my persecutors! Psalm 31:14-15esv
How can man plan the time struggling to foresee that which may come. God is the giver of time and line of events, all seasons are upheld and changed by His hand. Howbeit that man take hold of the ancient timepiece wherewith the stars are hung at night and the comets burst and give off twinkles of light.
Looking to Future
Man shall see in the days ahead that it is on God alone the whole earth stands, for He is sovereign and all is moved by His powerful right hand. When the sky is darkened and the moon turned to blood, when the land shakes and creates its flood, who is man that time is in his hand.
Elohim the only Creator shall snatch away all that He pleases, and in a moment even the breath of the beasts seizes. Frozen in time will be the rhyme placed in the hearts with pride, and death and destruction will see no end.
Yahweh the Sovereign Lord will have His say on what times and seasons begin and end. As leaves lose their water and wither away so is ones life but a vapor they say. Discolorations and dryness of touch, they crumbled as dirt and the earth they flush.
So it is with man for from dust they came and flesh and bone will make ash display. What is time that man can understand, as it is El Elyon that has caused us to remain. The rocks will someday tumble and be swallowed up by the sea, the blackest of skies will come to be.
Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” Luke 21:28esv
Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all has taken place. Luke 21:31esv
Pride of man
Who is man that the power of the Almighty they can withstand. Pride and arrogance fills in the skin as man likens himself to God all over again.
The Creator and the creature must be friends, for this life knows no end. Only changing of places and times and seasons again.
He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding; Daniel 2:21esv
How does salvation and humbling come to this creature whom Elohim did create. She cried out in wonder as her heart filled with grief.
And standing behind him at his feet, weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head and kissed his feet and anointed them with the ointment. Luke 7:38
What is time that man can understand, simply to live every moment holding His hand. Believing in His love can one withstand all that is coming that brings the end.
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Eph. 2:8-9
Book of Life
You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your book? Psalm 56:8
A time to be born and a time to be born again, what is man that God is mindful of him. Those who love and with friendship begins will come to know the Father again.
What is it man that causes him to worship again, the Spirit of Truth bringing back unto Him. Embracing those who return and settling the fears, the giver of time has given again.
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Rev. 21:4
To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, A time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted; A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up; A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance; A times to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing; A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away; A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak; A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
Many are stuck right now because they do not understand the season. We do not pick and choose our seasons; and no matter how much we may wrestle with the circumstances, some things are simply fixed in time.
God is the Creator of Seasons
Many have been in a season of letting go, a time of something dying. A time of tearing, fasting with mourning and heavy hearts.
Others have been in a time of birthing, building, nurturing something new. Some are experiencing both at the same time, greiving and rejoicing.
A time to be born, and a time to die– Dreams, Visions, Goals, Jobs, Minstries, Careers; what happens when we are experiencing both so close together?
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what has been planted….
We have been in a time of “wombs and tombs”- Not every “word” fits everyone; some are looking at tombs and wondering if there is any life left. Is this a sickness unto death, Lazarus, or is this unto the glory of God?
Make room for the new that you have faith to recieve.
A Season of Transition
A season for transition; letting go of the old and taking a step of faith to grab hold of something new. Release to Recieve
This season is not comfortable for many. Overall; not understanding or not having the knowledge of what to do in this season. For those sensitive to the time; having had God Most High place a timepiece on their insides, this is an emotional season.
There are times in one’s journey on destiny’s path when they ARRIVE at a FORK in the ROAD. A choice must be made.
*Ask for wisdom *Quiet the soulish distractions/anxieties *Remember God does not drive; He leads…the adversary drives with a pressure. *TUNE in, where is peace? *Follow Peace *Where is fruitfulness? Follow Frutiful akreas *Find the gentle, still leading of His Holy Spirit
Remember & Pray this as a Promise; And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. Isaiah 30:31

You may be required to release old dreams and desires to go to next phase with new ones. Some dreams and desires need to be resurrected; called forth from the tombs! Called forth from wombs!
At one time I was carrying so many things in my spiritual womb and young in birthing intercession; that the Lord prompted me to ask Him to place in specific “embryos” “heavenly incubators” sometimes we need to understand the season of RELEASING /DELIVERING that we can move into the season of RECIEVING/BIRTHING.
Father I give _____( whatever) to You and ask that I only carry what Is Your will without contamination, confusion, or catastrophe. I trust You Father, I know You are the Giver of Good and Perfect gifts. I trust my times and seasons are in Your hands Father. I recieve all that You have for me. I release any old, dead, weighted things from seasons past, and free up to recieve from You that which You have. Breathe oh Breath of God, upon the Dry bones in my life.
• as many things/situations as neccessary. Cast your CARES upon Him; for He so greatly cares for you! ( 1Pet.5:7)
I picture my life like a tightrope. Climbing the ladder to get on the rope is a nice goal to start. My life while I was a young adult was very similar as walking a tightrope. I climbed as high as I could to get to the rope.
Then the moment I got my feet on the rope someone would come along and push me off. As I fell staring at the ceiling knowing there is a net that will catch me I still felt shame, fear, and insecure.
With a world full of bullies it’s hard to not fall into insecurities.
For when a bully tells you your stupid, or you look like a guy when clearly your a girl, when the cheerleaders tell you your not pretty enough to be a cheerleader.
When the only group of girls you have while out of town treats you like your lower than dirt and makes up lies about you.
When walking in a room full of family members knowing they was talking about you. When the teachers gives you a look of pity.
Living in a world full of bullies is just the enemies way of keeping you away from the truth about yourself.
The truth is you are royalty!
You are loved no matter what! You have a destiny! You are a daughter or son of the most High God!!!
How do I know because the word of God says so:
““I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the LORD Almighty.”” II Corinthians 6:18
and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him. Romans 8:17
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” I Peter 2:9 NKJV
“You shall also be a crown of glory In the hand of the LORD, And a royal diadem In the hand of your God.” Isaiah 62:3 NKJV
And the best part is finally believing in all of that! Believing that you are loved. That you are beautiful. That you are never alone!
When the Bible says “I will never leave you or forsake you” I believe it!! [ Hebrews 13:5 ]
The keys to getting free from the enemies lies are…
1. Pray to God 2. Loose the insecurities the enemy is trying to put on you. 3. Bind Truth on you 4. Find all the Bible verses that tells the truth about you. 5. Look in the mirror and say one thing nice about yourself. 6. Always remember to forgive and live in love
““Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 18:18 NKJV
Once you get through the thick black tar of lies the enemy is trying to throw on you. Just remember you can climb that latter and walk that tightrope all without falling, without getting pushed off.
Because you truly know the truth is God is your strength and He loves you and He thinks your a masterpiece no matter how you look, sound, or anything you do.
“For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above–spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].” EPHESIANS 2:10 AMP
It’s time to bully insecurities back!!!! It’s time to love yourself and love others just like Jesus does!
“Our fight is not against people on earth. We are fighting against the rulers and authorities and the powers of this world’s darkness.
We are fighting against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12
“But I tell you, love your enemies. Pray for those who treat you badly.
If you do this, you will be children who are truly like your Father in heaven. He lets the sun rise for all people, whether they are good or bad. He sends rain to those who do right and to those who do wrong.” Matthew 5:44-45 ERV
There are good seeds and bad seeds
As I was sitting talking to the lord he was telling me the reason why insecurities is layered and is hard to recognize is because the enemy planted seeds of insecurities in your soul. Which can be anything from fear, doubt, jealousy, shame, pride and the list goes on.
So I started praying that any seeds or fruit that is not from the Lord must go. And I been replacing the bad with good. The fruits of the spirit. The word of God.
“The Lord is my strength. He saves me, and I sing songs of praise to him. He is my God, and I praise him. He is the God of my ancestors, and I honor him.” Exodus 15:2 ERV
“But the fruit that the Spirit produces in a person’s life is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these kinds of things.”
Galatians 5:22-23 ERV
“Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.” ’ ”” Matthew 13:24-30 NKJV

What is prayer? There are several types of prayer spoken of in the Bible, some by name and some by prayer in action. I am often asked about the difference between types of prayer.
For example what is the difference between prayer and intercession or what makes prayer prophetic. It helps to break this all down.
Definitions of prayer: ( Ref: Poet Assistant)
n. a fixed text used in praying n. earnest or urgent request n. reverent petition to a deity n. someone who prays to God n. the act of communicating with a deity (especially as a petition or in adoration or contrition or thanksgiving)
The Person Holy Spirit
Luke 3:16 reads; John answered them all, saying, “I baptize you with water, but he who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.
There are scriptures that refer to praying in the spirit, praying with understanding , speaking of prayer language given by the Holy Spirit after baptism in Spirit.
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. Rom. 8:26
1 Corinthians 2:10-11 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
Prayer is communication with a deity. For the followers of Jesus Christ; we obey His instructions given to the disciples and pray ” to our Father in heaven” in the name of Jesus.
( See Matt. 6:9-13, John 14:13-14)
So what makes prayer prophetic?
Let’s look at the term prophetic.
*Prophetic- a.) the name given to the predictive spheres of supernatural communications, acts, and influences from the spiritual world and its citizens. b.) The ministry and work of the prophet c.) The disciplines and practices of revelatory ministry. Ref.– The Prophets Dictionary by Paula A. Price, PH.D
Way back in Genesis, we read where Adam and Eve “walked and talked with God” in the ” cool of the day”
And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.
Walking and Talking- the silent part is they each had to be listening and responding.
Adam and Eve walked and talked, and countless others all throughout the Word of God did the same, they had conversations with the Lord. Many throughout the ages have ongoing daily fellowship with God by His Spirit.
When the Spirit of God speaks to individuals ( in various forms such as visions, dreams, pictures) His words often come with revelation, and are supernatural communications.
Hearing the Spirit of God speak to you and following instructions in prayer can be expressed in many ways.
John 3:8 The wind blows where it wants, and you hear the sound thereof, but can not tell from where it comes, and where it goes: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
The term prophetic is not the same as prophet, this is important to understand.
Prophetic can mean a gift set, an annointing giving expression to; it does not neccessarily mean one is a prophet.
Worship is a big part of entering into this place of prayer!
Grandmothers can be in prophetic prayer as they wave their white handkerchiefs unto the Lord as a Prayer of Surrender.
Flag worship is a form of prophetic prayer, the meaning behind the colors on the flags waved is being sent as a prophetic prayer unto the Lord.
The Spirit of God expresses Himself through various personalities and means as we yield and allow Him to do so. (( and we need not get weird with it!))
The cool of the day phrase in Genesis 3:8, hints to a breeze, a gentle atmosphere difference, a wind.
The prophetic gifting and annointings often come with the wind of the Spirit.
Intercession or prophetic intercession is actually standing in the gap.
Inter’ – in the gap, enter into
Genuine Intercessors will get in the mud, the pit, the fire etc with you in prayer. They will carry your burden seeing it through until victory.
It’s the power of the Holy Spirit guiding, giving insight as to how to pray, and prophetic prayer always has intercessory overtones and is mixed with authorities prayer, like decrees, declarations, and commands.
• All Prophets are intercessors; but not all intercessors are prophetic
•In trusting the gentle breeze in the cool of the day, prophetic types are yielding to the still small voice in all His various ways of communicating with them.
•The Holy Spirit reveals how to pray
I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint.’ (Hab 2:1)
This prayer requires a deep relationship with the Holy Spirit and a rich prayer life in a vessel cultivated in love❤
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Prov. 18:21
Creative Prayer- praying in faith combined with legalities such as we reap what we sow or the power of our words bring life or death.
Our expression of prayer is to get creative with the Creator! I also call this creative prayer. Praying while creating a piece of art/craft that speaks a truth.
We reap what we sow; so taking the time to enjoy fellowship in prophetic prayer while working on a project can deepen intimacy with the Holy Spirit. Need some Resurrection Power in your life?
What if you had a Creative Reminder to add to your prayer room?
For example Prophetic Art, painting and drawing while in an atmosphere of worship and in prayer, creating as a way of expression and worship. There is an annointing for these types of prayers.

The Prophet’s Dictionary: The Ultimate Guide to Supernatural Wisdom – Rev. and expanded ed. Paula A. Price, Ph.D. Published by Whitaker House, 2006
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who by faith have testified to the truth of God’s absolute faithfulness], stripping off every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily and cleverly entangles us, let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us, [looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity], who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work].”
HEBREWS 12:1-2 AMP
How can we run when we are holding onto something that weighs us down? We must be aware of what is unnecessary to hold onto. We can’t have unnecessary weight on our backs!
As a hiker I only carry the necessary things like a small bag with water and some granola bars. I also have the right kind of clothes and shoes on.
Water and food= the word of God, Jesus [John 6:35]
clothes and shoes= the armor of God [Ephesians 6:10-18]
As I read in Hebrews I find it says clearly to strip off every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily and cleverly entangles us… That gets me thinking about how we live our lives. What can weigh us down? Can it be our mindsets, our schedules, or our relationships. I would say its time to sit down and really ask God what is holding us back? Sin is very weighty!! As the bible says sin can easily entangles us. When you are entangled with something it is very hard to run.
Why does the bible say to run the race?
When we are running our eyes are focused on the finish line “Jesus”. If we was a runner that was so distracted of what is around us we would turn the wrong way, or we would even trip and fall. We must keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and not carry so much that weighs us down. The word endurance keeps coming up to me in this season. Again the word means the ability and strength to keep pressing forward no matter how we feel! As a runner or hiker we keep pressing on no matter how tired, or sore we get! Same goes with running the good race of faith!
~Yes we need to fix our eyes on Jesus in order to run in the right direction!~
“Not that I have already obtained it [this goal of being Christlike] or have already been made perfect, but I actively press on so that I may take hold of that [perfection] for which Christ Jesus took hold of me and made me His own. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider that I have made it my own yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the [heavenly] prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. All of us who are mature [pursuing spiritual perfection] should have this attitude. And if in any respect you have a different attitude, that too God will make clear to you. Only let us stay true to what we have already attained.”
“But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.”
HEBREWS 11:6 AMP
“Let your eyes look directly ahead [toward the path of moral courage] And let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you [toward the path of integrity].”
Amos 3:7 “For the Lord God does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets.”
The verse above is a timely scripture for today. Christians today, just as the disciples in Jesus’s day, want to know the signs of His return. Jesus gave an answer for the signs in Mark chapter 13. He described many things that will be “signs” of His second coming, but He emphasizes in Mark 13:30 when “all things” take place, then will He come again. So, when is Jesus coming? Mark 13:33 ESV “Be on guard, keep awake. For you do not know when the time will come. “
Prophets are God’s spokesperson here on Earth. They deliver the Word of the Lord! Some prophets will receive a Word for an individual, specific congregation, or corporately which will cause us to sing the Halleluiahs and dance with great praise and joy. We like to hear those from the Lord, right? What about the warnings God sends through His prophets? We may not like to hear those words as much but THANK GOD He sends them! This is His mercy for His children. How do we receive these words of warning? Do we humble ourselves before a HOLY GOD and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal TRUTH to us? Do we REPENT? Do we shirk it off believing it is for someone else? Or, do we discount the prophet completely?
I have pondered over some of the similarities I read in a commentary about Amos and the state our world is in today. God had placed prosperity on Israel, but their spiritual lives were deteriorating rapidly. They became corrupt and their society was in shambles. The Complete Jewish Study Bible states the Northern kingdom had a false sense of security, complacency, and optimism. The poor suffered while others lived in luxury. Idolatry and corruption abounded. This happened over time. Put the frog in the pot of cold water and heat it up; he dies in the pot because he doesn’t sense his death approaching. Does this sound familiar?
Amos was sent by God from the Southern kingdom to prophesy to the Northern kingdom calling out for their repentance. He was a shepherd (poor, low in social status) sent to those of wealth, he was not popular. We can even fast forward to John the Baptist in the days right before Jesus started His earthly ministry. John cried out, “REPENT, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 3:2). The spiritual condition was deplorable in this time and John spoke boldly about the sins of Herod as well as others. He was beheaded for speaking such truths. Jesus preformed miracles after miracles, taught any and all who would listen, challenged people to see their sin, repent, and follow him. He was crucified.
Now, let’s get right to the point. God reveals His SECRETS to His servants the prophets! The Word of God contains many prophesies on what will be; read it. Jesus also said in the Word we are to be on watch, sober, vigilant, and to STAY AWAKE; be obedient. God speaks to His children, the BRIDE of Christ through His Word, His Holy Spirit, His prophets, as well as a believer who cleans the toilet! God is no respecter of persons! We may not know the EXACT hour or day of Jesus’s return, but we can know the times and seasons! Pray for one another! Love one another! Get your eyes on Jesus! Repent and draw close to HIM!
Father, I pray You will remove the scales from our eyes. I pray You AWAKEN our spirits! I pray You will sharpen our hearing to Your sweet Holy Spirit. I pray You will send Your Spirit to show us TRUTH and that we would receive Your instruction or correction in HUMILITY. I pray You will soften our hearts to reach out to a lost and dying world! Lord, help us to SEE TRUTH and not be deceived or lulled to sleep. Father, I pray You will send Your angelic host to surround us, minister to us, and strengthen us for the days ahead. Jesus, we thank you for the sacrifice of YOUR blood for OUR sins! I seal this prayer in the Mighty Name of Jesus! Amen!

The shofar has many spiritual, as well as, practical uses. We see the word shofar more than 80 times in the Hebrew scriptures. We are going to look at a few of these, and look at the spiritual importance of the shofar.
One of the main things we see is that it is a natural object. Man does not make it from wood, or shape it out of metal. It comes from a living animal and the sound produced is by human breath blowing through it. Unlike a musical instrument it is not as much about the quality of the sound that is made, or the pitch and tone as the sound itself.
There are specific times we see the shofar in the Word of God that stick with us today.
Abraham takes Isaac to sacrifice him but instead God provides a ram, caught in the thicket by its horn
The sounding of the shofar on top of the mountain when Moses went up to receive the 10 commandments
Joshua and the Israelites blowing the shofar and shouting to bring down the walls of Jericho
There are actually many instances in the Word of God that have to do with the shofar, let’s take a look…
1) The ram’s horn, the shofar, is a reminder of Abraham’s sacrifice of Isaac and God’s provision of a ram as a substitute. Genesis 22:13
2) The LAW (Torah) was given to Israel with the sound of the shofar from heaven. Exodus 19:19
3)a The Shofar was blown at the start of the year on Yom Teruah. (Rosh Hashanah) (Feast of Trumpets) 1st day of the 7th month. Leviticus 23:24
3)b The Shofar Sounds again on Jubilee year which is the 10th day of the 7th month through out the land. Leviticus 25:9-10
4) The trumpet was blown to announce the beginning of the festivals. Numbers 10:10
5) Israel won the battle of Jericho with the blast of the Shofar. Joshua 6:20
6) Gideon and his army confused and scattered the enemy with the shofar. Judges 7:15-22
7) The shofar was blown to signal the assembly of the Israelites during war. Judges 3:27, 6:34, II Samuel 20:1, Jer. 4:19, 51:27, Neh. 4:20, Amos 3:6
8) Seven shofars were blown before the ark of God. 1Chr. 15:24, 2Sam. 6:15
9) They took an oath before the Lord…..with trumpets and rams’ horns. 2 Chr. 5:14
10) The shofar was used for the coronation of kings. I.e. King Solomon. I Kings 1:34, 39
11) The shofar is a reminder that God is sovereign. Psalm 47:5
12) The shofar was blown to celebrate the new moon each month. Psalm 81:1-3
13) The shofar was used to accompany other musical instruments during temple ceremonies in Jerusalem and in praise and worship. Psalm 98:6, 150:3-6
14) The shofar will be blown at the time of the ingathering of the exiles to Israel. Isaiah 27:13
15) The blowing of the shofar is a signal for the call to repentance. Isaiah 58:1, Hosea 8:1
16) Blown as a warning. Ezekiel 33:3-6, Numbers 10:9, Isaiah 18:3
17) The blowing of the shofar ushers in the day of the Lord. Joel 2:1
18) The shofar is blown to call the sacred assembly. Numbers 10:3, Joel 2:15
19) Israel will be awakened to the coming of the Messiah with the sound of the shofar. Zechariah 9:14, 16
20) The shofar is sounded at the resurrection of the dead. I Thess. 4:16
21) The shofar (trumpet) is the sound of Yahweh’s voice. Rev 1:10
22) John was taken up to Heaven in the Book of Revelation by the sound of the shofar. Revelation 4:1
23) Seven trumpets (shofars) are sounded when God judges the earth during the tribulation. Revelation 8:9
Judaism concerns itself with the “three trumps”. They are called the first trump (blown on Mt. Sinai at the giving of the Torah), the last trump (when Jesus come back for His bride at the rapture 1 Thessalonians 4:16) and the great trump (when Jesus returns to gather Israel at the second coming Matt. 24:31)
When the shofar is blown there are 4 specific sounds that the blower will make
Tekiah – a 3 second blast, accented at the end (call to worship)
Shevarim – 3 longer broken notes (repentance, sounds like wailing)
Teruah – 9 staccato (short/quick) notes in succession (call to war)
Tekiah Gedolah – a tekiah that is held
as long as the blower can sustain. Some can go for over a minute with the sustained loud blast.(speaks of healing, and to messianic jews the rapture)
PSALM 150:3…”Praise him with the “BLAST” of the “SHOFAR”. The Shofar was the first musical instrument mentioned in this psalm of David. The Shofar is always associated with a powerful move of God.(WORSHIP)
ISAIAH 58:1; Hosea 8:1; Joel 2:1… Repentance – a broken, moaning, and crying sound, signifying that we are broken before the Lord.(REPENTANCE)
GIDEON…brought such complete confusion to the camp of the enemy (the Midianites) with the sounding of 300 SHOFARS that they began to kill one another in their retreat from 300 of Gideon’s men armed with only a Shofar, a torch and a clay pitcher. Judges 7:15-22 Joshua and the Israelites with a shout and the blowing of the Shofars caused the 25- foot thick, heavily fortified walls of the ancient city of Jericho to crumble and fall to the ground like dust. (WARFARE)
The Shofar is a voice as of God. Exodus 19:19, Rev. 1:10; 4:1 In the tradition of early Judaism: when a bridegroom went to claim his bride, the attendants would announce the coming of the bridegroom with the blowing of the Shofar and a proclamation, “Behold the Bridegroom cometh”. This happens again at the return of Christ, Our Bridegroom. (The Ultimate Healing)
Today, the shofar is featured most prominently in the Rosh Hashanah morning services. It is considered a commandment to hear the shofar blown.
We see in the talmud it states…
Why do we sound the shofar? Because the Holy One, blessed be God, said: Blow me a ram’s horn that I may remember to your credit the binding of Isaac, the son of Abraham, and I shall account it to you as a binding of yourselves before Me. The Torah tells us: Abraham look up and behold, he saw a ram caught in the thicket by its horns [Genesis 22:13]. This teaches us that the Holy One, blessed be God, showed our ancestor Abraham the ram tearing himself free from one thicket and becoming entangled in another. Said the Holy One, blessed be God, to Abraham: Thus are your children destined to be caught in iniquities and entangled in misfortunes, but in the end they will be redeemed by the horns of a ram. Therefore the prophet Zechariah said of the time of redemption: And the Lord shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth like the lightning; and the Lord God shall blow the shofar, and shall move in stormy winds of the south [Zechariah 9:14].
According to Leo Rosten, “The bend in the shofar is supposed to represent how a human heart, in true repentance, bends before the Lord. The ram’s horn serves to remind the pious how Abraham, offering his son Isaac in sacrifice, was reprieved when God decided that Abraham could sacrifice a ram instead.
Distinction of sound
These 10 interpretations of the sounds of the shofar were written by Saadiah Gaon, one of the foremost Jewish spiritual leaders of the Middle Ages:
1. Reminiscent of the Coronation of a King
The sound of the shofar is analogous to the trumpet-blasts that announce the coronation of a king. On Rosh Hashanah , God created the world and assumed the role of its Sovereign, and in the sounding of the shofar we acknowledge Him as our King.
2. Stirs Our Conscience
Rosh Hashanah is the first of the 10 Days of Penitence, and the shofar is sounded to stir our conscience, to confront our past errors and return to God, who is ever ready to welcome the repentant
3. Reminds Us of Sinai Revelation
The shofar is reminiscent of God’s revelation at Sinai, which was accompanied by the sounding of a shofar. It thus reminds us of our destiny — to be a people of Torah, to pursue its study and to practice its commandments.
4. Like the Exhortations of the Prophets
The sound of the shofar is reminiscent of the exhortations of the prophets whose voices rang out like a shofar in denouncing their people’s wrongdoing, and in calling them to the service of God and man.
5. Reminder of the Temple’s Destruction
The shofar reminds us of the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem, and it calls us to strive for Israel’s renewal in freedom and in fellowship with God.
6. Symbol of the Ram That Abraham Sacrificed
The shofar, which is a ram’s horn, reminds us of the ram that Abraham offered as a sacrifice in place of his son Isaac. It thus reminds us of the heroic faith of the fathers of our people who exemplified to us the highest devotion to God, of which man is capable.
7. Summons Us to Feeling Humility
The shofar summons us to the feeling of humility before God’s majesty and might, which are manifested by all things and by which our own lives are constantly surrounded.
8. Reminder of Judgment Day
The shofar is a reminder of the Day of the Final Judgment, calling upon all people and all nations to prepare for God’s scrutiny of their deeds.
9. Foreshadows Return from Exile
The shofar foreshadows the jubilant proclamation of freedom, when Israel’s exiled and homeless are to return to the Holy Land. It calls us to believe in Israel’s deliverance at all times and under all circumstances.
10. Foreshadows Coming of the Messiah
The shofar foreshadows the end of the present world order and the inauguration of God’s reign of righteousness throughout the world, with a regenerated Israel leading all people in acknowledging that God is One and His name One
“And on that day a great ram’s horn shall be sounded” (Isaiah 27:13).
So is it important for Christians today?
Even though there is no commandment for us today to blow or hear the shofar blast, I believe there is still significance to it.
For one thing God never did away with what we call “the Old Testament”. Jesus said in Matthew 5:18 “For assuredly, I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law (Torah) till all is fulfilled”
If it was important then I believe it is still important today.
The principles still apply. It still does (supernaturally) what God intended it to do.
It awakens the spirit man, it causes confusion in the enemies camp, it calls us to higher dimensions in God, it announces the greatness of our King.
One day we will hear a shofar blast that will call us up to meet our Messiah in the air and so shall we ever be with Him.

2 Corinthians 9:6-13 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written: “They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever.” Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, others will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else.
⚔I SEAL THIS PRAYER DECREE IN JESUS YESHUA NAME …AMEN
Everyone was with the Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit before we were placed in our mother’s womb! They CREATED us unique and with a heart that will never be content until we are united with God again. We have been fearfully and wonderfully made by the Creator!
As we live our life, we search to fill the void with many things and are satisfied for a time but we will not be completely satisfied until we become reunited with our CREATOR. Our decisions will either separate us from Him or draw us closer to Him.
He CREATED you! He LOVES you, true unconditional love! He DRAWS you! He LONGS for you! He SEARCHES for you! He WAITS for you! He REACHES for you! ALL OF HEAVEN REJOICES when you call on the Name of JESUS! Today is the day of salvation! He has a ROYAL ROBE waiting to place on you which signifies you are FAMILY!
No matter how far you have gone; No matter how deep the darkness; No matter the things of your past; No matter how deep the hurt… HE WAITS FOR YOU! There is nothing that will keep Him from you when you CALL ON HIS NAME! He will FIGHT for you!
YOU are PRECIOUS to Him and YOU are HIGHLY TREASURED! Place your hand in HIS HAND! Look into the eyes of the ONE WHO SACRIFICED HIS LIFE for YOU! Climb up to HIM and let HIM EMBRACE you as a FATHER! He will RESTORE, DELIVER, HEAL, and LOVE you! Receive HIM, LOVE beyond, PEACE beyond! HE IS A GOOD, GOOD FATHER!
He is FAITHFUL! He is TRUE! He is FULL OF GRACE AND MERCY! He is LOVE! He will NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU! YOU ARE HIS CHILD!
I pray this is encouraging to you! JESUS WAITS FOR YOU TO CALL ON HIM!
Romans 15:4-6 4 For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.5 Now may the God who gives endurance and who supplies encouragement grant that you be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, 6 so that with one accord you may with one voice glorify and praise and honor the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
As I got up this morning and had my time at Jesus’s feet. I ran across the verses in Romans 15. The verses stood out to me talking about how the word of God is to give us instructions on how to live. Then I kept reading and the word endurance popped out to me. according to Dictionary.com endurance means: The ability or strength to continue or last especially despite fatigue, stress, etc.
I get to verse 5 and read the words “Now may the God who gives endurance and who supplies encouragement…” When I read that I got up to praise the Lord, Realizing that God gives us the ability and strength to keep going! Despite how we feel, He will always be right there encouraging us to keep moving.
Testimony: I have been going through a lot of transitioning! With going through all this change I realized I needed to learn how to catch my thoughts. The enemy was having a hay day with me for a few weeks. Then I finally broke and asked the Lord what is going on with me. He began to talk to me about where I tend to put my identity. A light bulb went off in my head and I was very thankful for that revelation the Lord gave me. But with going through a “mind battle” for weeks at a time can be very exhausting. So when I made time to get in the Word, I was lead to Romans 15. The Lord was telling me that no matter how I feel or what I am going through that He will give me the ability and strength to keep pressing on! Praise the Lord for His word of encouragement!
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You so much for teaching us Your truth! No matter how we feel, or the battles we go through the truth is your always with us! Thank You for letting us cast our burdens on You. Thank You for never leaving us or forsaking us. Help us walk according to your Word. When we come to you as Your child in need, we know with everything in us that You will encourage us, teach us, and guide us! Thank you Father for everything we have and everything we are through You. We ask for spiritual wisdom and understanding for all the days to come. As we put on the helmet of salvation to protect our thoughts from the enemy we stand tall meditating on Your truth! ( Eph. 6- helmet of salvation) “One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in His temple.” Psalm 27:4 In Jesus name, Amen

* Meant for our good! A tool to refine, to try, to trouble, to purify.
The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity
Daniel 3 NKJV
The Image of Gold
Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was sixty cubits and its width six cubits. He set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
2 And King Nebuchadnezzar sent word to gather together the satraps, the administrators, the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the judges, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
3 So the satraps, the administrators, the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the judges, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces gathered together for the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
4 Then a herald cried aloud: “To you it is commanded, O peoples, nations, and languages,
5 that at the time you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre, and psaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music, you shall fall down and worship the gold image that King Nebuchadnezzar has set up;
6 and whoever does not fall down and worship shall be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.”
7 So at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the horn, flute, harp, and lyre, in symphony with all kinds of music, all the people, nations, and languages fell down and worshiped the gold image which King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
❗Pride built a 90 foot ( 60 cubits) tall self exalting image
❗The witchcraft/ Divination of the land manifesting through idol worship.
❗When the Sound was released, the people were commanded to bow.
Daniel’s Friends Disobey the King
8 Therefore at that time certain Chaldeans came forward and accused the Jews.
9 They spoke and said to King Nebuchadnezzar, “O king, live forever!
10 You, O king, have made a decree that everyone who hears the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre, andpsaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music, shall fall down and worship the gold image;
11 and whoever does not fall down and worship shall be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
12 There are certain Jews whom you have set over the affairs of the province of Babylon: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego; these men, O king, have not paid due regard to you. They do not serve your gods or worship the gold image which you have set up.”
13 Then Nebuchadnezzar, in rage and fury, gave the command to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. So they brought these men before the king.
14 Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying to them, “Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the gold image which I have set up?
15 Now if you are ready at the time you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre, andpsaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music, and you fall down and worship the image which I have made, good! But if you do not worship, you shall be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. And who is the god who will deliver you from my hands?”
16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.
17 If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver usfrom your hand, O king.
18 But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”
❗ Accuser of brethren works through chaldeans to accuse the Jews.
❗Intimidation tactics with threats are used
❗The Jews are actually doing what’s right, taking a stand and refusing to conform, refusing to worship a false god/idol
❗The Jews take a bold, courageous stand, even unto death.
Saved in Fiery Trial
19 Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury, and the expression on his face changed toward Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. He spoke and commanded that they heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated.
20 And he commanded certain mighty men of valor who were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, and cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their trousers, their turbans, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
22 Therefore, because the king’s command was urgent, and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego.
23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?”
They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.”
25 “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”
❗Nebuchadnezzar fills with rage, his face manifesting fury
❗The EVIL Kings army binds the Jews
❗ They force them into the furnace
What Nebuchadnezzar failed to understand is that the Son of God was with the Jews, no matter where they were.
God was permitting this affliction. Afflictions are mentioned many times throughout the bible. Fire, furnace metaphors several times.
Afflictions do not arise out of the dust.
So that no one would be disturbed by these afflictions; for you yourselves know that we have been destined for this! 1 Thess. 3:3
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Is. 43:2
Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.Ps. 34:19
❗There is a literal furnace, the furnace of affliction is gracious, refining and PURIFYING us so that we do not expirence the literal for eternity
❗ Many are in the furnace of affliction, but the holy fire starts with dousing!
We should be Expecting the BAPTISM in FIRE!
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity.
And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Matt. 13:41-42
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you. 1Pet. 4:12
But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. 1 Pet. 4 :13-14
May the spirit of glory and of God rest on you!
“Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready.” It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.'” And he said to me, “These are true words of God.“
On the wedding day the groom wears little or white linen garments. This signifies purity, holiness and a new beginning.
There are 3 parts to a jewish wedding
Shiddukhin, a mutual commitment
Erusin, the engagement
Nissuin, the marriage
At the shiddukhin the bride price was paid. This is called the mohar. It is the sum that the father of the groom gives for the bride. The mohar that the Father paid was the very life of His Son. Nothing else was good enough for the bride except the blood of the perfect, sinless, Son of God.
Next a ketubah is drawn up. This is an agreement that outlines the bride to be special rights and it would lay out what the groom would do for her. This document is so important if the couple loses it or it gets destroyed they could be considered not officially married until they get a new one. This document for us is the Word of God. It gives us our promises and tells us what our groom is going to do.
If the full bride price cannot be paid sometimes a down payment is made.
In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation-having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.
Ephesians 1:13-14 NASB
Alot of unions in bible days were set up by the parents.
“Abraham said to his servant, the oldest of his household, who had charge of all that he owned, “Please place your hand under my thigh, and I will make you swear by the Lord , the God of heaven and the God of earth, that you shall not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I live, but you will go to my country and to my relatives, and take a wife for my son Isaac.”
Genesis 24:2-4 NASB
Abraham (the father) sent his servant (representing the Holy Spirit) to get a bride (the church) for his son Isaac (Jesus). The servant found Rebecca but he wouldnt take her by force, she had to choose.
“And they said, “We will call the girl and consult her wishes.” Then they called Rebekah and said to her, “Will you go with this man?” And she said, “I will go.” Thus they sent away their sister Rebekah and her nurse with Abraham’s servant and his men.”
Genesis 24:57-59 NASB
Even though the Father has chosen us and sends Holy Spirit to get us we still must choose. He will not take us by force, He allows us to choose.
In preparation the bride and groom are immersed in water separately.
“Then Jesus arrived from Galilee at the Jordan coming to John, to be baptized by him. But John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I have need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me?” But Jesus answering said to him, “Permit it at this time; for in this way it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he permitted Him. After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting on Him, and behold, a voice out of the heavens said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased.”
Matthew 3:13-17 NASB
Yeshua was immersed and we are told to also be immersed in water.
Then there is the erusin or the betrothal period. The couple at this time was considered married and would even have to get a divorce to separate but they did not live together or engage in intimacy. Mary and Joseph was in this phase when Mary became pregnant with Jesus.
“Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: when His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child by the Holy Spirit. And Joseph her husband, being a righteous man and not wanting to disgrace her, planned to send her away secretly. But when he had considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet: ” behold , the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a son , and they shall call his name immanuel ,” which translated means, ” God with us .” And Joseph awoke from his sleep and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took Mary as his wife, but kept her a virgin until she gave birth to a Son; and he called His name Jesus.”
Matthew 1:18-25 NASB
The groom would at this point go back to his fathers house and spend 9 months to a year working on a place for him and his bride.
“In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.”
John 14:2-3 NASB
During this time the bride will focus on getting herself ready, making personal preparations. This includes the wedding garments, and the lamps. Even though the bride knew a time frame when her groom would come for her she didnt know the exact day or hour. The final approval for the groom coming to take his bride was left up to the father.
“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.”
Matthew 24:36 NASB
For this reason the bride had to keep her lamp ready. Wic trimmed, oil in the lamp. It would be shameful if the groom came at night for his bride and her lamp was not filled with oil. It would show she was not ready for or looking for her grooms coming.
–parabal of the 10 virgins- (Matt 25)
The groom would not enter the brides house but he would send some before him to start calling out “the groom is coming, the groom is coming” sometimes they would go door to door letting everyone know. The groom would come close to the brides house and blow the shofar and the bride would come out to meet her groom.
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.”
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 NASB
Now we have the final stage, the Nissuin. This word comes from naso which means “to lift up”.
The groom nasos or lifts up his bride and carries her into the huppah, a temporary structure for the wedding feast. They would stay in the huppah for 7 days while the celebration was going on. Weddings were not a one day celebration but usually 7 days.
I feel like this is a beautiful picture of our relationship with our groom.
The bride price was paid, the blood of Jesus was shed for us on the cross.
Our ketubah, the Word of God, lays out all our promises and shows us our inheritance.
The down payment has been made in the form of Holy Spirit.
Father chose us, Holy Spirit came for us, we must say YES!
We are immersed or baptised.
If we have said yes to Christ we are now in the erusin period. We are sealed, we belong to Him and He has gone to prepare a place for us. Now is our time to make sure we are in the sanctification or cleaning up process with Holy Spirit so we will not be ashamed at His Coming.
Our groom will come in the clouds, not to the earth just yet, and lift us up or rapture us to meet Him in the air. We will enter heaven for the marriage supper of the Lamb and spend 7 years in our huppah or temporary place as we have not been appointed to wrath. Then we will return with Him to the earth as He sets up His kingdom on the earth.
There is a Mission Control Center for every strategic military assignment. Sometimes the Center is underground in a controlled protected environment, or on the ground in a hidden and well protected spot, or even on a specialized aircraft which is moving constantly in the atmosphere so it cannot be detected. Regardless of it’s location the Mission is assigned to individuals who are a loyal part of the troops and have pledged their life to carry out the Mission assigned to them from their Authority.
God’s Army has many divisions just as our military has Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines! God supplies HIS troops with weapons and protective gear which are far superior to the enemy’s. I am a part of God’s Great Army! God is my Holy Father, Jesus is my King and Authority, Holy Spirit is my 4 Star General, and The Word of God is my manual! The weapons of my warfare are many Ephesians 6:10-20! No weapon of the enemy will prosper against me (Isaiah 54:17)! My praise is a weapon! My honor is a weapon! My prayers are a weapon! His Word is a weapon in my mouth! If I get pinned down by the enemy, I CAN CALL on my Father’s Angel’s (Air Force) to war on my behalf!
My Mission is Mark 16:15 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” My Authority is in my King who said in Luke 4:18-19 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” Jesus did as he seen His Father do when His feet were on this Earth and now I must do likewise!
I am His BOOTS ON THE GROUND! I received this Word from the Holy Spirit and it is now my assignment… BOOTS ON THE GROUND, BOOTS ON THE GROUND, BOOTS ON THE GROUND, MOUNT UP!
I will be His BOOTS ON THE GROUND, I will STAND until He commands me to MOUNT UP!
Many are in labor, spiritually speaking. God has put something in your womb that you have been nurturing and growing for some time now. We rarely ever know the exact date of delivery. We just nurture, protect, nourish, and plan for what will be birthed. Sometimes God says PUSH and you must obey. You dont always have the luxury of thinking, “what are the consequences if I push? What will happen if I wait? Is this really the right time? ” Just like a woman in delivery timing is important. You dont want to deliver too soon, but neither is holding on too long a good option. You must learn the timing of God.
As prophetic people we tend to live in the future a lot so when God says something we want to run headlong into it, but the appointed time may be several years in the future. Sometimes God says now is the time to rest. That may be hard as you are amped up wanting to see this thing you know that is inside of you become a reality, but if you birth it now, it won’t survive. When God says push, you push. When He says rest, learn to rest.
Abraham and Sarah learned this important lesson. In Genesis 15 Abraham was promised a child. In their waiting on this promise they got anxious and took matters into their own hands (Genesis 16). Abraham’s descendants are still fighting to this day because they did not wait on God. It took 25 years for their promise to be birthed. Can you wait 25 years if that’s what it takes to see the promises God has given you?
Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.
Isaiah 40:31 NASB
Continually pushing when it’s not the correct time will wear you out and discourage you. And sometimes bring opposition to your promise.
There are things in my womb (yes men have a spiritual womb, just ask Elijah, 1 Kings 18:41-45) that have been there for 12 years. If I would have kept pushing that whole time I would have not only hurt myself but could have devastated part of my destiny.
BUT, when God says it’s time, it’s time. No looking back, no deciding wait I cant do this. The time is upon us when many are in labor. Be ready for when God says PUSH, you better push. It may be hard, it may be tiring but the end result will be so worth it.
There are Ezekiels being hovered over by the Supernatural Living God in this season! The Ezekiel Generals are marked by the ZOE LIFE OF THE SPIRIT! The Breath upon and within them is a supernatural wind of the Spirit! They are prophetic in nature in all they do, it cannot be severed from them.

THE HUMAN HEART- SYMBOLISM
There is many sections of the human heart. Parts to pump blood throughout the body. Parts to send oxygen throughout the body.
And even more sections to the heart the bible speaks of, our inner man.
*Blood of Jesus *Oxygen= breath of life *Body of Christ
